Goulburn Family Day Educator, Louise Hill, was recently awarded the Regional Educator Winner for Goulburn & Southern Tablelands in the 2020 Family Day Care Awards.
When reflecting on her 28-year career as an educator, Louise said the experience was a rewarding one. “It’s a wonderful experience that allows you to meet and serve families in the community.” says Louise.
Louise is passionate about creating one-on-one connections with the children in her care and she loves being able to give the children a ‘home away from home’ where they become part of the family.
Louise’s award win comes as Anglicare’s Family Day Care service is urgently seeking new educators to meet the increasing demand in the Goulburn region. “People need to know that providing this service can be extremely fulfilling, an Anglicare is able to provide the training and support they need to qualify as an educator” says Rose Young, Anglicare ECEC Manager.
