Anglicare’s retirement villages have been the first to be awarded with the Australian Retirement Village Accreditation Scheme (ARVAS) Standards. The ARVAS accreditation guarantees the provision of reliable and quality services for our retirement living residents.
John Vilskersts, General Manager of Seniors Living Anglicare NSW South, NSW West and ACT says “Overall, this has been a long but worthwhile process to demonstrate and validate Anglicare’s commitment to our values and how we can best serve our residents with their interest foremost in our dealings with them.”
“Achievement of ARVAS accreditation has positioned us well to now proceed with the ongoing task ahead of continuous quality improvement.”
Anglicare has three retirement living communities: Wollondilly Gardens in Goulburn NSW, St David’s Close and Brindabella Court in Canberra, which have all received the ARVAS accreditation.
Only organisations which actively subscribe to the Retirement Living Code of Conduct are eligible to apply for ARVAS accreditation. The Code of Conduct and ARVAS accreditation provides assurance to residents that retirement villages are age-friendly, safe and purpose-built to provide the best quality accomodation for senior Australians.
