For the past four years, Bishop Rob has served the Diocese of the Riverina, which stretches from the western edge of Wagga to Victoria and South Australia in the South and East and up past Broken Hill in the North – about 37% of New South Wales. A former actor, Rob had a one man show imagining Jesus Christ returning at Christmas time that he has taken around the Diocese and is performing for one last time in Melbourne to raise funds for a Homelessness charity. He was also featured on ABC’s ‘Landline’.
Bishop Rob and his wife, Janine’s, work and influence were acknowledged by the Mayor of Griffith and the former Mayor of Narrandera, by the new deacons and priests Bishop Rob has ordained and by the young Aboriginal man whose boxing club Bishop Rob had helped sponsor. The Metropolitan Archbishop Glenn Davies was present and also Bishop Ian from Bathurst Diocese.
Bishop Rob and Janine return to the UK where he will be an Assistant Bishop in Lincoln Diocese.
