The Chair of the Board of Anglicare NSW South, NSW West & ACT, Ms Lynette Glendinning, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Brandon Howard as the organisation’s next Chief Executive Officer, commencing in February 2023.

Mr Howard is currently Executive General Manager – Community and Pathways at GenU, a national charity, offering Disability, Aged Care, Training, Employment and Childcare services.  Mr Howard brings over 20 years’ experience, having held senior finance and operational roles across public and private health, and the community services sector.  His appointment is the result of a rigorous recruitment process undertaken by the Anglicare Board.

Mr Howard is married with three children and is a member of his local church.

‘I am humbled and honoured to be selected as Anglicare’s new CEO and I look forward to partnering with the Board, Staff and Volunteers to build on its strong legacy and advance its mission.  Anglicare is an organisation that aligns to my faith, values and my passion for people, in wanting to make a lasting difference by supporting and empowering individuals and families’.

Ms Glendinning expressed her thanks to previous CEO, Jeremy Halcrow, who resigned in October 2022 after 10 years in the role, to be Senior Executive Director of Strategy and Quality with The Benevolent Society, a national charity focused on community services. Jeremy Halcrow led Anglicare (NSW South, NSW West & ACT) through a period of significant change including the divestment of Aged Care services, the trauma-informed Sanctuary certification process, the Black Summer Bushfires and COVID-19.

“Jeremy’s exceptional leadership has meant that Anglicare is in a very healthy organisational  position. We thank him for his wise, humble and competent leadership over the past decade,” said Ms Glendinning.
